Taylor Swift Shuts Down A Sexist Magazine Story: ‘We Need Feminism In 2015′

childbearing age — and yeah, I’m speaking from experience — is everyone
from family members to people you barely know asking personal questions
about when you may or may not be planning on having children. And for

Taylor’s feelings about this everyday misogyny were echoed two weeks ago by Ariana Grande, who wrote an inspiring Twitter essay saying that repeated stories that referred to her as Big Sean’s ex made her feel “tired of living in a world where women are mostly referred to as a man’s past, present, or future property/possession.”
Hopefully, if enough famous, powerful women keep calling this kind of behavior out, it will trickle down and have a positive affect on the rest of us. A girl can dream.
